Tattoo Removal
Starting at $100 per session
Who says tattoos have to be forever?
Laser tattoo removal provides the most effective method of removing pigment from the skin. Patients prefer quick, non-surgical methods of removing tattoos over other methods like bleaching creams or excision. At Rejuvenation Center, we use the Lumines Stellar M22 system for laser tattoo removal, which is one of the most advanced and effective technologies available for laser treatments. By using this system, pigment can be effectively broken down and absorbed by the body.
Tattoo removal lasers produce pulses of light energy. The tattoo ink absorbs each pulse of energy as it penetrates the skin. Heat causes the tattoo ink particles to shatter into tiny pieces as they absorb the energy. The length of your tattoo removal session will vary according to the size of your tattoo.
How does it work?
The laser blasts the tattoo pigment onto your skin with specific heat, speed, and wavelength, causing it to break apart into smaller particles. As a result, your white blood cells are able to destroy all of the ink in your blood. Our laser at Rejuvenation Center is safe for all skin types.
What is the treatment like?
In order to ensure your comfort, we will apply a topical numbing cream to the tattoo area before beginning treatment. We will pass the laser device over your skin after this has taken effect (about 30 minutes). You will wear eye protection goggles to protect your eyes from the laser light. According to the size of your tattoo, the length of your session will vary.
How many sessions will I need to eliminate my tattoo?
It usually takes at least six to eight treatments, spaced at least eight weeks apart, to see a satisfactory reduction in tattoo appearance. Laser tattoo removal takes time – often a year or longer – so patience is necessary as results gradually appear between treatments.
